Our Impact Across the Globe

Since our founding, our impact has grown from a single chapter with 18 students in Mexico to a global network operating across 9 countries on 3 continents. Every program is designed with the community, delivered by passionate volunteers, and measured by the lives it changes.

We believe in transparency and accountability. That is why we track every class taught, every meal rescued, and every life touched. Our impact is not measured in dollars spent but in real outcomes: children who can now read in English, families who received a warm meal, and women who found the support they needed to rebuild their lives.

Our approach is simple: partner with trusted local organizations, understand each community's unique challenges, and deliver tailored programs that create lasting change. This model has allowed us to scale rapidly while keeping our impact deeply personal and community-driven.

Education

Literacy & Education Impact

Our literacy services have provided over 1,500 hours of free English and STEM classes to underserved communities worldwide. From weekly English lessons in rural Bihar, India, to STEM competition prep camps in Illinois, our education programs equip learners with the skills they need to compete on equal footing.

In Guatemala, our partnership with Iglesia Misional reaches young children and teenagers with weekly lessons in Comalapa. In Vietnam, our volunteers work alongside Vietnamese Community Volunteering to teach English in Sapa's remote mountain communities. Each chapter adapts its curriculum to local needs, but the goal is always the same: break the cycle of poverty through education.

As covered by the Chicago Tribune, our foundation's global literacy programs are led entirely by youth volunteers, from high school students to working professionals, making our impact both scalable and sustainable.

Food Rescue

Food Rescue Impact

Through Empower Eats, our food rescue program, we have rescued and delivered over 15,000 meals to families facing hunger across DuPage, Kane, and Will Counties in Illinois. In 2025 alone, we delivered 6,000 meals to shelters including Hesed House in Aurora, one of the largest shelters in the state.

Our proprietary Bridge 2 Meal app — winner of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge — creates a real-time digital bridge between food donors and recipients, eliminating the coordination barriers that cause most surplus food to go to waste. In Year 2, we expanded to 5 restaurant partners and are now rescuing meals at an even faster pace.

Our impact in food rescue demonstrates that technology, when combined with community commitment, can address food insecurity at scale. Every meal we rescue is one less wasted and one more family served.
